Deer in the Meadow takes place on Koslivadi, where all organisms hold the ability to manipulate one of the seven forms of Will – the forces that facilitate and maintain all life on Koslivadi – to some degree from the day it is born. Each form of Will spreads across the planet in veins leading from their Heart. Unsurprisingly, Will and their Hearts are what influence every social and political detail on Kosilivadi. Spoiler Our story will follow Maphelafi Pidal, a botanist living in the ancillary stratum of Nemvien. With her life having been a monotonous cycles for quite a while now, Maphi has become quite jaded and defeated with the world around her. Seemingly having accepted the world for what it is Maphi has become complacent with being just another gear in the machine.However she is forced into motion when what looks to be a small and isolated event causes her to embark on a journey across Koslivadi that will raise a question: What exactly are the obligations one holds when they are born?Join seven Beloveds as they journey to their personal answers to such an impossible question.
